HARDWARE ID
The aim of this FAQ is to go through all major topics regarding csWMPI, functionally, installation, run time, environment, trial, Autodyn and hardware ID.
- What is the Hardware ID and why is it needed to produce a license?
- The Hardware ID is the unique identification of the license server and therefore is need for us to be able to lock and validate license for this particular server. The license server is the server that all other nodes will contact to check the validity of the license. It does not need to be part of the cluster but must be able to communicate with all nodes in the cluster. To obtain the hardware you need to run the Hardware ID utility in your license server. To get the hardware ID, please download the application for Windows and for Linux.
