csWMPI can run on standalone machines or clusters consisting of
Windows and/or Linux nodes. Any inter-connector supporting
TCP-IP can be used, including Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, Myrinet, InfiniBand,
Quadrics, etc. The number of CPUs that can be used simultaneously is
limited by the license. For a trial license this number is 4 CPUs.
The following platforms are supported:
Microsoft Windows for x86 32-bit systems
Microsoft Windows for 64-bit extended systems
Linux for x86 32-bit architectures

csWMPI has been tested and found to work on the following distributions:
- Fedora Core 4
- RedHat Enterprise 4
- SUSE 9.2
There is a good chance that csWMPI will run on other distributions
than those listed above, you can always try to install a trial version
to see if it works. In case not, please contact us and we will determine
whether your distribution can be supported. Moreover, other versions above
mentioned distributions are likely to work as well, both more recent
version and some earlier versions provided that the requirements
listed below are met:
| Installation Privileges |

| Kernel version |
Linux kernel version 2.6 |
